Music has been a part of her life ever since she can remember. LaTonia Zebre (a.k.a LaTonia Powers) is a multi talented artist ready share her music with the world.
A native of Denver, Colorado, LaTonia Zebre grew up in a musical family. Her mother and grandmother were both musicians and singers, playing most Sabbaths at their church, where they encouraged LaTonia to do the same.
LaTonia kept singing through high school and college and in the early 2000's she, along with three college friends formed the gospel group Minute to Midnight. In 2007 they released their self titled album that included four songs penned by LaTonia.
In 2019, LaTonia decided to start working on her first solo project. Although production was delayed by the onset of the 2020 global pandemic, her desire to complete the project did not go away. In fact the pandemic and other events that occurred during that period gave her better focus and determination as they revealed a need in the world she believes her music can fill.
The social distancing and business closings during the pandemic also helped her to decided that this was the time to not only write, but to also produce her own music.
The first single to be released in September 2023 is Come Over. This song was written and produced by LaTonia. She also plays drums and guitar on the track. Mixing and mastering were completed with the help of Grammy Award-Winning producer Kelvin Wooten (WU10).
LaTonia is excited to finally be sharing this song with the world and is excited to share more music in the near future. She is working on the release of her debut album Your Love expected to be released in the Spring of 2024.
